Hi, I’m Clare, a Southampton-based tutor with over 10 years’ experience, dedicated to helping children learn and grow. I’m a qualified primary school teacher specialising in Key Stage Two and 11+ entrance exams. I offer one-to-one tuition in spelling, reading, writing, and maths for children in Years 3 to 6.

I love working with children individually because it allows them to make rapid progress and gain confidence in their abilities. I tutor from a well-resourced, calm room in my home in Hamble, where I create engaging, active, and fun sessions tailored to each child’s needs.

I have a kind, patient, and nurturing approach, and I carefully plan each lesson to suit the child I’m working with. I also keep parents updated with regular feedback to ensure we’re all working together to support the child’s progress. I enjoy supporting the children I work with through Forest 1st Tutoring in Hampshire.
