Hi, I'm Grace! I am highly passionate about helping children reach their potential. After spending eight years teaching in a local infant school, I have gained valuable experience supporting a wide range of learners and their individual needs.
During my teaching career, I took on a variety of leadership responsibilities, including leading multiple curriculum subjects and working as a Local Authority Moderator for Maths and English. These roles gave me valuable insight into supporting high quality learning experiences and helping pupils reach their full potential.
One of the aspects of education I have always enjoyed most is building meaningful relationships with children and understanding how they learn best as individuals.
After classroom teaching, I worked as a tutor and loved creating engaging, personalised learning opportunities that helped children gain confidence, develop new skills and achieve success in ways that worked for them.
I am delighted to be part of Forest 1st Tutoring as an Alternative Provision Coordinator. I am passionate about helping young people access the right educational support and ensuring they receive opportunities that enable them to thrive both academically and personally. Supporting tutors and working collaboratively with schools and families to achieve positive outcomes is something I find incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and love playing Padel. I have also recently spent time travelling around the world and working on a yacht in Greece. These experiences strengthened my organisation, adaptability and problem-solving skills!
