Grace

Hello! I’m Grace, a qualified primary school teacher with 8+ experience working in school. I specialise in teaching KS1.

I am passionate about building relationships with pupils and creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. My holistic approach ensures I get to know every child as an individual, carefully recognising needs and next steps in their learning. I am patient, positive and encouraging with a growth mindset.

A particular interest of mine is maths and I have a sound understanding of progression in mathematics. I am a creative thinker and enjoy planning and creating lessons that enthuse and engage children, allowing them to foster a life-long love of learning.

Outside of teaching, my dog River keeps me busy and we love long walks in the forest. I also love playing sport, particularly netball! I’ve been learning how to play Padel recently and have loved trying something new!
