Hello, I’m Grace!

I’m very excited to be joining the team at Forest 1st Tutoring. I enjoy working with young people because their curiosity and enthusiasm make every day interesting. As a teaching assistant, I love helping children grow in confidence and getting to know their unique personalities. I understand that learning can be challenging at times, and I aim to make students feel supported every step of the way. I will be working with students both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, assisting them with tasks as needed.

I am currently studying for a degree in Occupational Therapy at Bournemouth University and work as a learning support assistant at a local primary school. I also have experience volunteering with young carers, supporting on an animal therapy camp for young people, and completing professional practice placements for OT - all of which have helped me develop the skills needed for this role.

Outside of work and studies, I enjoy spending time with my cheeky pony Fern, swimming and paddleboarding in the sea, and catching up with friends and family.
