Joelle

Hi, I'm Joelle and I live in a small village on the Essex/Suffolk border with my husband and three children. I love jigsaws (the harder the better), reading, swimming and organising people, businesses and events! My evenings and weekends are a blur or clubs and activities for my children - I am a taxi mum.

I graduated from the University of Essex with a degree in American Studies in 2006 and gained my PGCE teaching qualification in 2009 and my NPQ in 2024. I have taught in schools for over 15 years and now tutor privately alongside providing administrative and PA support to tutoring business owners. Prior to teaching, I worked at the University of Essex as a Conference Administrator.

I am passionate about reading and was the reading lead at my school for many years. I run regular online book clubs for international children alongside after school tutoring.

I am excited to be a part of Forest 1st Tutoring and to work alongside Nicola and the team to help support parents and their children as they work alongside us.
