Lizzie

Hello, I am Lizzie.  I am a dedicated and passionate Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, specialising in Key Stage 1, Early Childhood Education, Test Preparation and Special Educational Needs.  I am skilled in engaging learners of all abilities through creativity, empathy, and clear communication. I am experienced in curriculum design and leading initiatives that enhance learning and wellbeing.  I love to create projects for children so that they can fully immerse in their learning with context and linked understanding across all subjects.

I am adaptable and highly organised, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.  I am able to assess needs fast and adapt my approach to meet the needs of all learners.  Over the years of working with children, I believe building strong, secure and safe relationships sets the foundations of learning that can ultimately develop knowledge and understanding, along with academic abilities.

I have a cat that I adore and I love all animals.  During the warmer months, I love being out on the water paddleboarding or simply by the sea, enjoying the environment.  Throughout the winter months, I love being out walking in nature and exploring new places.  I look forward to working with your child or children.
