Rebecca

Hi my name is Rebecca. I have worked in education globally for seventeen years. My early career journey was focused on EFL and EAL support abroad and I later trained as an English Teacher in Manchester (UK). I have lived and taught English in many places which has given me a real variety of experiences. I absolutely love teaching a subject I am passionate about. Until recently I taught English at KS3-5 in Malaysia in an international school, which was a very rewarding experience. I loved meeting so many students from different backgrounds.

Around six years ago I also became a tutor for students both online and in person. I have relished this experience as working one on one allows me to really see their development and watch them become more confident in their learning. I offer online learning in English up to A Level for students at Forest 1st Tutoring.

When not in the classroom online or otherwise, you will find me cooking, doing yoga or curled up reading a book. Having lived abroad for many years, I am passionate about traveling too and always looking for an adventure. I also have a baby daughter and partner, and so I love spending time with them in parks and in nature.
