Ruth

Hello, I’m Ruth, and I have worked in education for almost 25 years. I have a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.

I began my educational journey whilst raising my four daughters, studying at every opportunity, volunteering and then securing employment through the various roles within a mainstream school; from lunchtime assistant, to nurture group practitioner, through to completing my degree as a Primary School teacher. Over recent years, I have specialised in learning more on SEN. With this in mind, I have now begun my NPQ in SENDco.

I love teaching inclusively by using practical tools with creative methods. I strive to create learning spaces where curiosity is welcomed, differences are valued, and ideas come alive through hands-on, imaginative approaches.

I have 4 daughters, 2 dogs and 1 cat. I love learning, reading, travelling and scrapbooking. I thoroughly enjoy having music on, and I love spending time with my family, near or far.
