Hi, I am Sam. I completed a degree in BEd Primary Education at the University of Winchester in 2021. I then became a primary school teacher with 2 years experience in year 5. I am especially interested in maths and enjoy seeing children make progress in this subject. 

Last year, I began tutoring my partner's daughter which has helped me to realise how much I miss teaching! I believe it’s especially important to build a good relationship with each child and adapt each lesson to their needs and interests.

Recently, I have worked with a few children in alternative provision. I find this to be particularly rewarding as I not only teach them school subjects, but also help to shape their future.

As well as tutoring, I am also a tennis coach. Tennis has always been my passion alongside teaching. I also love gaming and football (I am a big saints fan!)
