Hi, I’m T, and I have been a primary school teacher for 28 years. Teaching is my passion. Having worked for 13 years in state schools, including middle management, and 14 years in the independent sector, I have a wealth of experience—from teaching Year 2 to getting children ready for SATs in Year 6. Now, I tutor a wide age range of children every day after school. I am still as devoted as ever and care deeply about every young person I work with. I firmly believe in modelling kindness and taking the time to talk and listen to the children in my care.

I live in Romsey with my partner, and in our summer holidays, we love to spend a month exploring France and Italy by car. Loving the outdoor life, we regularly walk the stunning coastal paths of the UK—usually only in the warmer, drier weather though! I am a keen member of a local community choir and gym, where I enjoy yoga, swimming, and different group classes. As a lover of music and the arts, I also enjoy seeing live bands and going to the theatre often.

During my weekends, I love to cook, and my fiancé and I have been regular helpers at the Sunday Lunch Project for homeless people in Southampton for the last five years. We have also recently adopted two one-year-old cats from a local animal sanctuary, Bob and Pip, and we enjoy spending time playing with them.
